Tito’s Handmade Vodka adds new bottle formats to Asia Pacific travel retail offer

Tito’s Handmade Vodka has launched an extended range of SKUs for Asia Pacific following a strong performance in the region over the past year.

New sizes include a 1.75-litre bottle, available in Dubai Duty Free, and a 200ml format which is available with Heinemann at Sydney Airport.

Tito’s has experienced double-digit growth in its existing Asia Pacific markets and gained new listings in key international airports, including Indonesia (Jakarta), Malaysia (Kuala Lumpur), Hong Kong and New Zealand (Auckland). The company said the focus at this year’s TFWA Asia Pacific Exhibition is to fill remaining distribution gaps and establish the brand in new duty free markets, such as China, Taiwan and Japan.

According to Tito’s, the new bottle formats alongside its seasonal gift bags have helped to boost sales. In February, Tito’s celebrated the Chinese Year of the Dog with the launch of promotional red velvet gift bags. In Singapore the company will share its Ugly Sweater programme for the holiday season, as well as discuss plans for the next Chinese New Year.

Tito’s International Managing Director John McDonnell said: “Asia Pacific is an important region for Tito’s Handmade Vodka. We are excited about launching the new bottle formats, which combined with our non-traditional promotional gift packs, will drive trial, whilst rewarding loyal fans with more opportunities to purchase. This is a great chance for operators to capitalise on the American craft spirits trend and attract shoppers.”

Heinemann Asia Pacific Head of Category, Liquor and Tobacco Daniel Licari commented: “We are delighted to introduce the 200ml format to our customers, which will give new passengers an opportunity to trial Tito’s and maximise their full spirit allowance.”

Tito’s will feature as the pouring vodka at the TFWA Asia Pacific bar; it will be offered neat or in a Tito’s American Mule cocktail.

McDonnell said: “We look forward to meeting with customers at the bar as well as our booth (E39) at TFWA Singapore as we embark on the next phase of development in this important region.”
