Paul & Shark will feature its Spring/Summer 2020 collection at next week’s TFWA World Exhibition (Riviera, RH8).
The Italian brand said its presentation at the Cannes event will reflect its values of tradition, innovation and sustainability, which also play key roles in its latest range.
Paul & Shark’s Save the Sea range will be highlighted, along with Typhoon 20000, Nextravel and Aqua Leather lines. A new Colours of Sardinia collection will be featured while the brand will also unveil a range for women from American designer Nick Wooster.
As reported, Paul & Shark launched its second Nick Wooster capsule collection for men earlier this year.
Paul & Shark said it continues to “create fashion with avant-garde technical performances”. The company added: “The constant study of materials combined with attention to environmental problems, have led the brand to test new types of fabrics and processes with a distinctive look and unique quality.”

The brand underlined the increasing importance of environmental sustainability and corporate responsibility. The search for innovative materials is, Paul & Shark added, fundamental to achieving its objective of protecting the environment.
Paul & Shark described its Save the Sea initiative, which was detailed in our Duty Calls series earlier this year, as its “most ambitious project”. The brand said the Save the Sea range respects the requirements set by the Global Recycle Standard (GRS) and combines quality with a sustainable identity.

Each component of its garments – from the zip, to the inner padding and the lining fabric – is made from recycled material. “The production process gives new life to the recycled material, a reduction of energy consumption, CO2 and water emissions, achieving the goal of producing totally sustainable clothing,” the brand said.
Paul & Shark aims to produce 50% of the collection with recycled fabrics by winter 2020.
Typhoon 20000 features a range of fabrics engineered and patented by Paul & Shark to ensure waterproof and windproof protection while the Aqua Leather range combines hi-tech with functionality and comfort.
Technology also plays a major role in Paul & Shark’s Nextravel range which highlights multifunctionality.
