The Moodie Davitt Report has stepped up its Mandarin language coverage of key China-related stories, anchored by our WeChat platform, published four times a month. Readership is climbing steadily with the platform now attracting 4,176 followers, along with encouraging reading and sharing levels.
Moodie Davitt WeChat is curated under the direction of Penelope Zhou, our Hong Kong-based Chinese Editor, and company Founder & Chairman Martin Moodie, also based in Hong Kong. They are supported by two further freelance staff in Mainland China.

Leading this week’s posts is a stunning collaboration between China Duty Free Group (CDFG) and Clinique – part of the part of The Estée Lauder Companies – at the Sanya International Duty Free Shopping Complex (cdf Mall) in Haitang Bay. Clinique hosted a live event, featuring Clinique Brand Ambassador, superstar Chinese singer Roy Wang, on 18 April to officially open a pop-up.

The Estée Lauder Companies President Commercial, Travel Retail Worldwide Javier Simon has hailed the Hainan opportunity in an exclusive video interview with The Moodie Davitt Report strategic partner Hainan Hinews Media Co during the recent China International Consumer Products Expo (CICPE/Hainan Expo) in Haikou.
