Lindt celebrates love and Lindor with branding takeover on The Moodie Davitt Report

Swiss premium chocolate company Lindt & Sprüngli has teamed up with travel retail’s most popular information website, The Moodie Davitt Report, for a website takeover to celebrate its new-look Lindor.

The tailored branding marks the striking redesign of Lindt’s bestselling brand: Lindor chocolates. The pioneering campaign will run on MoodieDavittreport.com for the next two days, and comes just weeks before the new line is revealed to retail partners at TFWA World Exhibition in Cannes.

The Lindor brand has been a staple of Lindt’s business for over 60 years and is a key component of many travel retailers’ confectionery offers.

Lindor, Lindt’s “love brand”, has had a shiny new makeover.

Lindt & Sprüngli Travel Retail will unveil its new vision for the market at Cannes (Marine Village, R7/R5). The new campaign will focus on “sharing magical moments”, making Lindor – the chocolatier’s “love brand” – the focal point. A number of travel retail exclusives will also be showcased.

Lindt & Sprüngli Global Duty Free Division Head Peter Zehnder said: “We’re incredibly excited to reveal our new blueprint for the travel retail market at the TFWA World Exhibition & Conference. Lindor is an iconic brand and one that is popular with travellers from all age groups and nationalities.”

The new Lindor Milk & Mint joins the portfolio of flavours next year.

From early 2019, the bestselling Lindor Tube 400g will be available in updated packaging with a “more polished and luxurious finish” that reflects its premium status, said Lindt.

Additionally, a new 175g size will be available, exclusive to travel retail. This miniature size was created “for travellers looking for a sweet treat for themselves or a small souvenir for their loved ones.”

This new size will be available in the most popular variants – Milk and Assorted – as well as a new favour addition for 2019, Milk & Mint.

There will also be a new addition to the gifting range: the Lindor Deluxe Heart. The heart-shaped tin is available in red, filled with Lindor Milk, or in a golden version filled with assorted flavours.
