AUSTRALIA. Coty Travel Retail Asia Pacific has opened a Kylie Cosmetics counter in the newly-unveiled Heinemann Tax and Duty Free store in Sydney Airport Terminal 1. The store, launched exclusively with Heinemann Australia, is the first in Australian travel retail. To celebrate the opening, Kylie Cosmetics is planning to launch a playful activation in April.

As reported, the Heinemann Tax and Duty Free store features what the travel retailer called a complete rethinking of its store design and assortment across fragrance, skincare, makeup, watches and jewellery, bolstered by the introduction of fashion and accessories.

The Moodie Davitt Report Founder & Chairman Martin Moodie was on location for the official unveiling of the store. Click here for his exclusive interview with Heinemann Australia Managing Director George Tsoukalas.

Gen Z brand Kylie Cosmetics has a strong direct-to-consumer network, powered by its famous founder, reality star Kylie Jenner. The brand is a core pillar of Coty’s renewed focus on the skincare category.

The 23sq m Kylie Cosmetics store is dressed in a pale pink colour palette and offers plenty of the brand’s best-selling lines including the Matte Lip Kits, Pressed Blush Power, Kybrow Kits and Kylie Skin sets.

The vibrant space offers plenty of photo opportunities for travellers. These include a life-sized Kylie Matte Lip Kit, pink scooter, and Kandy Kart which is decorated with chocolates and lollipops.

An interactive iPad gives travellers the opportunity to learn more about the Kylie Cosmetics portfolio, while a makeup chair invites shoppers to try on different products and create their own Kylie Cosmetics beauty looks.
