Improving retail and F&B sees airport satisfaction on the rise

USA. According to the J.D. Power 2016 North America Airport Satisfaction Study, overall airport satisfaction is on the up, partly due to improving food & beverage and retail facilities.

New York design and innovation studio ICRAVE says new food outlets with localised cuisine have helped to achieve this increase in customer satisfaction. ICRAVE’s projects include SSP America’s recently opened Five Borough Food Hall at John F. Kennedy International Airport Terminal 4.

The F&B outlet brings New York’s vibrant mobile eateries to airport passengers with a collection of playful, movable food carts: Global Sandwiches; The Apothecary; Dromos; Canal Street Noodle House and Coffee Bar/Grab and Go.

ICRAVE has also worked with OTG on its Wibar concept at Delta’s domestic terminal at New York LaGuardia Airport.
