USA. DFASS Group today announced the appointment of experienced travel retail executive Mike Osorio as President Organizational Change & Effectiveness.
Osorio has three decades of leadership experience, including over a decade with DFS Group where he most recently served as Region President, Americas/Pacific Islands/Japan.
The new strategic role has been created to support the evolution of DFASS as a leading travel retailer, said Vice-Chairman Roberto Graziani.
DFASS, a pioneer and innovator in the inflight duty free sector, is also a growing force in airport and border retail. The company said that it is now “aggressively updating and professionalizing its organisation to lead in the omni-channel, digital, customer-driven travel retail industry of the future”.
“Mike will partner with our talented team to define DFASS for the future and its leadership role in all aspects of travel retail, including inflight, airport and border stores and omni-channel retailing as evidenced by the recent Singapore Airlines/DFASS/SATS joint venture,” said Graziani.
“His extensive background in retail operations as well as HR, learning & development, and organisational change & effectiveness make Mike uniquely qualified for his remit at DFASS Group.”
