The Estée Lauder Companies-owned skincare brand Clinique has revealed a new formula for its popular Moisture Surge 100-hour Auto-Replenishing Hydrator.
The upgraded gel-cream will launch in selected airports, downtown duty free and online travel retail stores this spring.
The supercharged formula offers 100 hours of hydration. The gel-cream’s Auto-Replenishing technology also develops its own internal water source to deliver continued hydration which penetrates up to ten layers of skin.
The formula has also been infused with Clinique’s exclusive new Aloe Vera Bio Ferment which helps the skin retain moisture. The ferment is produced using responsibly-sourced and certified organic Aloe Vera Powder, Lactobacillus and Activated Aloe Water.
The formula also features Hyaluronic Acid which helps increase the skin’s water retention capacity, Moisture Holding Super Matrix which helps skin lock in moisture, and Trehalose and Sorbitol which infuses skin with vital hydration.
According to the brand, the new formula boosts skin hydration by +174% after one use and strengthens the skin barrier by +37% after four weeks of continued use. This is based on clinical testing of 19 women, who were evaluated with in-vitro tests 30 minutes after using the product; and on consumer testing of 110 women who used the product continuously for one week.
The Clinique Moisture Surge 100h Auto-Replenishing Hydrator comes in 30ml, 50ml and 75ml recyclable glass jars.
English actress Emilia Clarke, who was named Clinique’s first-ever Global Brand Ambassador for skincare and makeup in January 2020, stars in the campaign for the revamped Moisture Surge 100h Auto-Replenishing Hydrator.
