Celebrating entrepreneurship: Cyril Camus claims two major awards

Camus President Cyril Camus has claimed two major awards which underline his entrepreneurial spirit.

The EY (Ernst & Young) Entrepreneur of the Year Awards is an international programme to honour the business activities of men and women who have “not just demonstrated innovation, leadership and excellence, but who have also contributed to improving the quality of life in their region or market around the world”.

Camus President Cyril Camus’ passion and efforts in championing and driving Cognac have been rewarded with two major awards

Camus, who is a recognised leader in the world of Cognac, was nominated in the Family Business category and claimed top honours in the recent 27th edition of the awards held in Saint-Emilion, France earlier this month.

The House of Camus and its President were also nominated for their dynamism at the La Tribune Wine’s Forum at Bordeaux on 15 October.

The weekly French financial newspaper’s annual awards honour bold or innovative business initiatives and players. Camus claimed the Commerce and Distribution Award.

As reported, Camus unveiled a new, upscale brand platform and a range of ‘new generation’ Cognacs earlier this year

The initiative is one of the most ambitious moves to ever come out of the Cognac sector, with the brand’s entire Cognac portfolio repositioned. The new-line up, which is detailed in The Moodie Davitt eZine – Travel Retail’s Lookbook, was introduced to travel retail at the recent TFWA World Exhibition.

The eZine features interviews with Cyril Camus,and Camus Chief Marketing Officer Jean-Dominique Andreu.
