CabinZero ramps up travel retail presence with new collection

Travel-inspired bag specialist CabinZero will highlight a V&A Classic Remix collection at the upcoming TFWA World Exhibition (Green, H56).

As reported, the range was developed in collaboration with London’s Victoria & Albert (V&A) museum and featured at this year’s TFWA Asia Pacific event in Singapore. It is supported by a new free-standing display unit.

The bags’ features depend on their size and include all-weather protection, hide-away straps, trolley slip, thicker padding on the back and straps, sternum straps, bottle/umbrella pockets and laptop compartments.

Denz Vanderlist has joined the CabinZero team to spearhead the brand’s development in travel retail

CabinZero underlined its intention to extend its footprint in travel retail. The brand recently appointed former Cabeau executive Denz Vanderlist as Global Travel Retail Sales Director and noted two new airline listings with Tiger Air and Philippines Airlines.

CabinZero Founder and CEO Neil Varden said: “Denz is already a very well-known figure in the travel retail industry with vast experience in duty free/paid airport retail, inflight retail, cruises, hotels and international distribution. We have no doubt that he will be an essential asset to the team and help us grow our travel retail business and bolster the success of our range of CabinZero products.”

Paisley was inspired by the work of textile designer George Haité (1825-71). Originally designed for a Victorian shawl, the pattern has been reimagined with linen white, rich red, deep blue and jade green on a burgundy background.

Night Floral features a white trailing bloom print on a soft black background with tones of olive, khaki green and highlights of chartreuse and pink. The design was inspired by textiles by William Kilburn (1745-1818).

Azar has orange flaming lotus flowers entwined with indigo stems and leaves on a vintage sand background and takes inspiration from an Iranian textile from the mid-19th century. Spitalfields presents a floral watercolour print, in burgundy tones on an antique cream background and was inspired by the designs of Huguenot silk weaver, James Leman (1688-1745).
