Bluebell Group exclusively introduces Fenty Beauty to South Korean duty free market

SOUTH KOREA. Bluebell Korea has introduced Fenty Beauty by Rihanna to South Korea’s downtown duty free market.

The cosmetics brand, which was developed by Rihanna in partnership with LVMH-owned Kendo Brands, will be simultaneously added to five stores: Lotte Duty Free’s Myeong-dong and World Tower stores, Shinsegae Duty Free’s Myeong-dong and Gangnam stores and The Shilla Duty Free’s Jeju shop.

The brand is designed for traditionally hard-to-match skin tones

Fenty Beauty first launched in 17 countries on a single day in 2017 with Rihanna creating the brand “so that people everywhere would be included” in make-up by focusing on a wide range of traditionally hard-to-match skin tones.

Since then it has grown to now be featured in more than 30 countries. As reported, DFS Group has recently debuted the brand in Hong Kong and Macau as the brand progresses in key Asian markets.

A spokesperson for Bluebell Korea said: “As the leading retail business expert in the largest duty free market in the world, we are very excited to extend our partnership to Fenty Beauty by Rihanna. We are proud to say that Bluebell Korea’s long-lasting partnership with LVMH is based on its focus on the quality of service, customised training, and outstanding market insights. We are expecting this unique partnership to extend the global reach of Fenty Beauty significantly in the years to come.”
