Airport parking specialist ParkCloud rebrands under ParkVia name

UK. Airport parking reservation provider ParkCloud has rebranded under its existing business-to-consumer brand, ParkVia.

The two brands previously operated in tandem, with ParkCloud separately serving the business-to-business sector. However, the company said that the merging of the brands reflects the growing popularity of the ParkVia name, which now boasts over 3.5 million registered users.

The rebranded company has announced a raft of recent airport parking contracts, including an agreement with Aeroporti di Roma, covering car parks at Rome Fiumicino Leonardo da Vinci International and Rome Ciampino International.

ParkVia, which is headquartered in the UK, is an airport parking retailer which works across 42 countries. The services of more than 2,000 parking providers are promoted through www.parkvia.com, as well as a large network of partner websites, that includes airlines, travel partners, online travel agents and in-car navigation technology.

ParkVia Managing Director Mark Pegler said: “As we drive forward with investment into our partnerships, services and teams, it is clear – having listened to our customers – ParkVia holds the brand power that will enable us to evolve as a global innovator in our industry.

“This is a positive progression for all parties involved and enables us to operate collectively as one coherent brand, whilst the values and vision we hold as a company remain unchanged.

ParkCloud CEO Mark Pegler said the move brings his company’s activities under one coherent brand.

“It’s an exciting new phase of development for our team and we’re eager to drive forward with brand ParkVia and develop our presence as a leading retailer within parking.”

As reported, the company has secured a number of recent airport contracts, including agreements with Latvia Riga International, Venice Marco Polo and Aeroporti di Roma.
