WHSmith opens first inMotion store in Ireland at Dublin Airport

IRELAND. WHSmith-owned technology retailer InMotion has opened a new store in Dublin Airport’s Terminal 1. It replaces a Dixons Travel shop, which closed last year, and is the first such store to open in Ireland.

The store offers customers an extensive range of the latest technology products and accessories, including headphones, mobile power, Bluetooth speakers, cameras and travel accessories.

Major brands such as Apple, Bose and Samsung feature prominently.

This new store is one of 30 which will open in UK airports before the end of August 2022, after WHSmith won several consumer technology concessions in 2021.

The company will invest about £18 million (US$24.5 million) in capex and working capital relating to these shops.
