AUSTRALIA. Wellington Jeweller launched a new collection for its Pica LeLa brand at the TFWA Asia Pacific show in Singapore earlier this month.
The Palette Collection features multi-coloured fancy-cut crystals set in sterling silver pendants and earrings, with some designs complemented by freshwater pearls.
Designs come in a matching pendant and earrings set, or can be purchased as individual pieces. The colours are light and cool, ideal for the summer season, the company said.
Wellington Jewellery also introduced attractive new gondolas in two sizes – 60cm square and 60x100cm by 135cm tall. They can display 160 pieces and 200 pieces respectively, with lights that illuminate the stand. A back-up stock storage compartment at the base can hold more than 500 pieces.
Chief Executive Zacky Lee told The Moodie Report the company had just opened a Pica LeLa shop-in-shop in Shanghai HongQaio Airport.
“The new shop-in-shop has achieved a large volume of sales and its success means that we will be introducing this concept to other airports in the near future,” said Lee. “Our successful jewellery sales are increasing on a monthly basis and we attribute this to the innovative and contemporary designs that are introduced regularly and the large numbers of satisfied customers returning.”
At TFWA Singapore, the firm’s in-house designer was on hand at its booth to advise and design exclusive Pica LeLa jewellery at retailers’ requests. “This is another service we offer to duty free and in-flight operators,” said Lee.
