IRELAND. Walsh Whiskey has released a limited edition exclusively for The Irish Whiskey Collection at The Loop, operated by Aer Rianta International (ARI). The super-premium Irishman Single Malt Marsala Cask Finish is the company’s first global exclusive, released in conjunction with ARI. It is available at Dublin and Cork airports in Ireland.
The non-chill filtered single malt, distilled to 46% ABV, is finished for 15 months in marsala hogshead casks from Sicily. The casks were selected by Walsh Whiskey Founder Bernard Walsh for this release, with the brand owner saying the sweet marsala-enriched staves have a strong influence on the triple-distilled malt.

Tasting Notes: Walsh Whiskey said the new expression carries “earthy notes with honey and floral aromas” on the nose; notes of candied dried red berries with “a rich toasted malt cereal mouth feel” on the palate and a toasted honeyed malt finish, giving way to fragrant floral notes.
