DFS is bringing the Drunk Elephant Difference to Asia Pacific travel retail

Shiseido Travel Retail and DFS Group have partnered to open the first Asia Pacific travel retail counters for prestige skincare brand Drunk Elephant.

To celebrate the occasion, DFS Group has unveiled a bright, playful and quirky animated film (presented above), welcoming skincare’s most famous elephant into its stores.

The eye-catching new Drunk Elephant counters are located in the T Galleria by DFS Shoppes at Four Seasons, Macau and T Galleria by DFS, Hong Kong, Canton Road. The colourful counters reflect the bold and dynamic visual identity of the Drunk Elephant brand.

The landmark opening marks Drunk Elephant’s Asia Pacific travel retail debut, offering travellers the opportunity to explore the cult-favourite brand’s vast range of biocompatible and bio-available skincare products.

The brand was acquired by Shiseido Group in 2019. The partners have plans to roll out the brand in North American travel retail in 2022.

Drunk Elephant’s mission is to offer a full range of skincare, haircare, and body care products that are free of the Suspicious 6, a reference to an ubiquitous list of ingredients often used in traditional beauty formulations that can cause skin disruptions. These are fragrances, essential oils, drying alcohols, silicones, chemical sunscreens and SLS.

A key highlight of the counter is Drunk Elephant’s Smoothie Bar, which offers different skincare smoothie combinations best suited to shoppers’ specific skin needs. Shoppers can also explore the dedicated ‘Drunk to Go’ displays for the brand’s travel retail-exclusive sets.
