‘Two worlds collide’: Maison A. de Fussigny unveils the world’s first vintage Cognac signet ring

Renowned Cognac house Maison A. De Fussigny has partnered with Bordeaux-based fine jewellery company Arvin to create the world’s first Cognac-mounted signet ring.

The jewellery company — created by Fabrice and Magali Cocrelle – developed an innovative new technique to encase fine wines and spirits into a pearl, which is then mounted onto a signet ring by acclaimed gemsetter Carl Jolibert.

According to A. de Fussigny, the collaboration showcases a mix of innovation, tradition, and quality. All are values shared by the Cognac house and the jewellery maison.

Perfect marriage: Maison Arvin created a unique method to encase fine wines and spirits in a pearl

A. de Fussigny and Maison Arvin have worked together to further elevate the ring’s personalisation, by allowing customers to choose its shape, colour, and engraving. Only ten pieces of the ‘Arvin for A. de Fussigny’ signet ring will be produced. They will be available on request from Maison A. de Fussigny.

The ring is accompanied by an exclusive limited-edition 1970 vintage Petite Champagne Cognac. The rare blend was aged in oak barrels for almost half a century and comes from one of the appellation’s most distinguished crus. It offers floral and dried fruit notes, balanced with candied fruit and melted wood notes.

The spirit is encased in a stunning orange lacquered wood box, of which only 251 will be produced.

In a statement, the company said: “As part of its constant search for innovation and excellence, Maison A. de Fussigny sought to marry two worlds of luxury and decided to combine the best of jewellery with the best of spirits.”
