TraWell completes Polish market “economic rebalancing” by securing new Warsaw Airport contract

POLAND. Luggage protection company TraWell has won a tender to supply its integrated offer of services at Warsaw Frederic Chopin Airport.

TraWell, which offers services including luggage wrapping, tracing solutions, lost luggage reimbursement options, travel accessories and luggage storage, will begin an open-ended contract on 1 March.

TraWell President Rudolph Gentile said: “The duration of the concessions is a determining factor in the stability of the income statement and in the valuation of a company like TraWell. This contract without expiration date confirms the high level of innovation of our offer and the excellent international credibility of the Group.”

The company, formerly known as Safe Bag, terminated its previous contract at the Polish airport in 2019. TraWell has said the new contract will see it pay 20% of its previous minimum monthly economic expense at the airport.

TraWell CEO Alessandro Notari said the new contract had allowed the company to “complete the economic rebalancing of our presence in the Polish market”.
