Travel Retail United – announcing a humanitarian fundraising project for Ukraine

UKRAINE. Today, International Women’s Day, The Moodie Davitt Report announces Travel Retail United – a fundraising project to help provide emergency relief for the displaced women, men and children of Ukraine.

All revenues raised will go to the Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal in association with the Disasters Emergency Committee (DEC) and Care International. Donations will help Ukrainian families with food, water, hygiene items and other vital supplies.

Supporters can donate in one of two ways.

1) Donors can donate anonymously either through The Moodie Davitt Report or direct via Just Giving below

Or

2) The Moodie Davitt Report is also producing an apolitical publication called Travel Retail United to accompany the project. Instead of traditional advertising, donors (individuals or companies) can provide an appropriately humanitarian or peace-related image (photo, painting or drawing) or a piece of writing (poem, excerpt or original message) to appear besides a subtly positioned brand logo (if required).

Go direct to our Just Giving page at https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/travelretailunited (if you wish your message to appear in our Travel Retail United publication simply notify Martin Moodie)

The digital publication is strictly humanitarian and not political in nature. All content will reflect that fact. There is no fixed price for any contribution but please be as generous as possible. The Moodie Davitt Report will be making a substantial cash donation as well as absorbing all freelance design, editorial and distribution costs. Every cent raised will go to the fund.

The Moodie Davitt Report Founder & Chairman Martin Moodie said: “As we celebrate the role of women all over the world today we must also acknowledge the desperate plight of the women – and others – from Ukraine. This is our contribution to alleviating that suffering and we hope we will earn the support of individuals and companies in the global travel retail community.

“We emphasise that this publication is apolitical and will not be used to address the urgent political crisis unfolding in front of our eyes. That is for others. Instead Travel Retail United will simply focus on the humanitarian catastrophe that is escalating each day and on helping bring relief to the displaced.”
