Tom Ford bottles beauty of Italian coast in latest Private Blend scent

Tom Ford Beauty has added a seventh eau de parfum, Sole di Positano, to its Private Blend Neroli Portofino Collection. The scent (50ml and 100ml) will roll out to global travel retail from April.

Sole di Positano, a green citrus floral fragrance, opens with a blend of Italian bergamot, petitgrain bigarade (bitter orange), lemon, mandarin and shiso leaf. The heart combines ylang ylang, sandalwood, jasmine absolute, muguet and orange flower. Soft musk and green moss feature at the base.

The eau de parfum aims to capture the beauty of cliffside village Positano, on Italy’s Amalfi Coast

Sole di Positano is housed in an aqua tourmaline glass, finished with a gold-toned label and cord at the neck.

Tom Ford said: “As John Steinbeck once said, Positano is a dream place that isn’t quite real when you are there and becomes beckoningly real after you have gone. Sole di Positano captures this dream-like beauty of the Italian coast.”
