Tissot unveils T-Concept store and boutique with CDFG in Haikou

The Tissot T-Concept store, the first of its kind in China, features changing seasonal themes and collections

CHINA. Premium watch brand Tissot, owned by Swatch Group, has partnered with China Duty Free Group (CDFG) to open the first Tissot T-Concept store in China at the cdf Haikou International Duty Free Shopping Complex.

Tissot also opened a standalone boutique on the third floor of the complex. Both boutiques occupy a total of 178sq m of retail space, offering more than 550 Tissot products.

The T-Concept store is located on the first floor of the complex. It offers an immersive and interactive shopping experience that highlights Tissot’s Swiss watchmaking heritage. The T-Concept store embraces seasonal creative themes that showcaseTissot’s youthful and trendy brand image.

Inspired by Tissot’s Little Beauty Series watches, the T-Concept store’s current theme features a light and feminine colour palette with decorations that were inspired by ancient Roman motifs.

The T-Concept Store features a large LED screen to highlight Tissot’s watchmaking history and innovations. A suspended hanging cabinet showcases more than 150 archival classic Tissot timepieces and underlines its ‘Innovation Originating from Tradition’ philosophy.

Shoppers can take selfies and share them on social media or print out their photos as souvenirs

Notably, the T-Concept Store features an interactive experience area which invites customers to check-in and take photos to share social media. A Sharingbox feature allows shoppers to develop their photos as physical souvenirs.

The standalone Tissot boutique on the third floor occupies 125sq m of retail space and showcases 400 Tissot timepieces. The boutique tells the story of Tissot’s 169-year watchmaking heritage and has various merchandising displays that highlight the brand’s fashionable, youthful and tech-driven brand identity.

According to the brand, the two openings strengthen its partnership with China Duty Free Group and underline its commitment to Hainan’s duty free business.
