Times OOH secures exclusive advertising rights at Indore Airport

INDIA. Outdoor advertising specialist Times OOH has announced a 10-year contract for exclusive advertising rights at Indore Airport.

This comes less than 12 months after the company secured exclusive media contracts at two other airports in India: Coimbatore and Tiruchirappalli.

Having won an exclusive advertising contract at Indore, Times OOH said it plans to enhance the airport’s digital offer with 34 screens as well as a video wall.

Times OOH noted that these three airports serve cities selected for the Smart Cities Mission, an urban renewal programme from the Government of India that aims to improve both quality of life and sustainability.

Indore, said Times OOH, attracts “top-notch travellers” due to its status as financial capital of the state of Madhya Pradesh as well as its proximity to tourist attractions including monuments and places of religious significance.

A spokesperson for the company added: “For us, what was interesting was the annual passenger growth rate. Currently this is at +27%.”

The plan for Indore, said the company, is to set up 34 digital screens and a video wall, “leveraging the endless possibilities with digital”.

Times OOH also has contracts at Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi and Mumbai Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport.
