ASIA PACIFIC. The Shilla Duty Free is the exclusive launch partner for La Prairie’s Skin Caviar Essence-in-Lotion 250ml version. The treatment essence is available only through Shilla stores in South Korea (including the Shilla iPark Duty Free joint venture), Singapore, Hong Kong, Phuket and Macau for one year. The retail price is US$349.
It is the first such collaboration between the travel retailer and luxury skincare specialist La Prairie.

For the Skin Caviar collection, La Prairie scientists have used a steam distillation process to capture caviar components in a pure, clear, active fluid. Whereas classic lotions contain regular water, Skin Caviar Essence-in-Lotion is made with caviar water, the distillate obtained through the steam distillation of caviar beads. According to the partners, caviar water complements the properties of La Prairie’s caviar extract, known for its firming and lifting benefits.
Skin Caviar Essence-in-Lotion was developed to be the first step in the skincare treatment regimen before applying serum. According to the brand owner, it leaves the skin “refined, firmer and perfectly moisturised”.
