The Moodie Davitt Report unveils digital campaign supporting WiTR+ official charity for 2023

The Moodie Davitt Report has today launched an extensive complimentary advertising campaign on behalf of the Women in Travel Retail+ (WiTR+) official charity for 2023: Koma Karanth Foundation.
Founded by a woman of many talents, Maitreyi Karanth, the Koma Karanth Foundation is on a mission to build homes for the poor, establish education and old age community centres, provide medical support and support single women in their journeys towards self-sufficiency.

The Koma Karanth Foundation was founded by actor, producer, writer, humanitarian and comedian Maitreyi Karanth

The Foundation has built 24 homes, an old age community centre and a tutoring centre for children. It has also set out to create a self-sufficient community to help women and children in the impoverished municipality of Gloria, Oriental Mindoro (Philippines).

As reported, Karanth headlined the WiTR+ meeting at TFWA Asia Pacific show on 9 May. Before the event, Martin Moodie caught up with her in Hong Kong for an exclusive interview – click here to read. Karanth also has 11 rescue dogs, two of whom we introduced in our Pet-sonality Profile column.

WiTR+ aims to raise at least €15,000 to cover the cost of building three homes for the community and boost visibility for the foundation and its goal. In an effort to increase awareness for this cause, The Moodie Davitt Report has partnered with Koma Karanth Foundation and WiTR+ for a tailored advertising campaign.

WiTR+ is gearing up to host a networking event in London on 30 June at the Joe & The Juice store, 8 Berkeley Street. The networking event will shine the light on the Koma Karanth Foundation and its charitable work in the Philippines and beyond. Click here for more details.
