INTERNATIONAL. Welcome to the latest issue of The Moodie Davitt e-Zine, in which we meet Swiss army knife brand Victorinox’s new Global Travel Retail/Duty Free Director Thomas Bodenmann.

Bodenmann switched Toblerone and Oreo for knives and travel gear in August 2016 when he joined from Mondelez World Travel Retail, having spent 16 years at the confectionery-to-biscuits company. Just over a year on from his appointment and ahead of Victorinox’s TFWA World Exhibition debut, Bodenmann talks travel retail strategy, challenges and the ‘green grass’ that the channel has to offer.

Elsewhere in the issue, we bring you two fascinating articles about Chinese Millennials as part of our alliance with Jing Daily, the leading digital publication on luxury consumer trends in China. The first explores how the Millennial concept is perceived differently in China; the second presents five surprising facts about luxury shopping habits.

A coup for Heathrow Airport, a make-up master class, and a landmark launch feature in our regular look at the industry’s best new campaigns, activations, launches and openings. Amsterdam Airport Schiphol’s renovated Holland Boulevard and a striking Hugo Boss campaign appear in our round-up of the most eye-catching videos about and related to the travel retail industry.

Please enjoy this edition of The Moodie Davitt e-Zine with our compliments.
