The Macallan Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky, owned by Edrington Group, has partnered with Stella and Mary McCartney for the third edition of The Harmony Collection.
The third instalment of the limited annual release features two expressions: The Macallan Harmony Collection Amber Meadow and Green Meadow. Both expressions are inspired by The McCartney sisters’ childhood memories of the Scottish countryside.
Stella McCartney is a renowned sustainable fashion designer, while Mary McCartney is a photographer, filmmaker and cookbook author. They are the daughters of former The Beatles member, Paul McCartney.
The Macallan Harmony Collection Green Meadow is a travel retail exclusive. It will roll out in The Macallan airport boutiques worldwide and key downtown duty-free locations including Hainan from February 2024. The Macallan Harmony Collection Amber Meadow launched in domestic markets in October. Both expressions have an RRP of £160 (US$196).
The third release in The Harmony Collection celebrates the scents and flavours of the Scottish countryside and highlights the mutual respect for nature shared by The Macallan and the McCartney sisters.
The presentation boxes underline the collaboration’s nature-inspired ethos and feature labels that are made with discarded meadow cuttings.

The limited-edition whiskies were made using a combination of sherry and seasoned oak and bourbon casks. Amber Meadow features rich orange, lemon, honeysuckle, vanilla, coconut and barley on the nose, with rich oak, lemon, melon, almond and green tea flavours on the palate. The whisky has a rich, sweet, long and complex finish at 44.2% ABV.
“There is so much to discover with The Macallan Harmony Collection Amber Meadow,” commented The Macallan Whisky Maker Steven Bremner. “It is a single malt redolent of warm meadows and mature barley fields, with a rich, citrus scented finish.
“The 100% natural summer evening colour derived from our exceptional sherry-seasoned oak and bourbon casks reflects the richness of the flavour which awaits. On the nose fresh citrus fruits and honeysuckle are complemented by hints of vanilla, coconut and ripe barley fields. On tasting, notes of oak, lemon, melon are prominent, accompanied by flavours of classic scone and almond with green tea, before giving way to a rich and sweet long finish.”
Green Meadow offers fresh orange and lemon, wild primrose, petrichor, honeydew and bluebells on the nose, with rich lemon, barley sugar, creamy vanilla, almonds and fresh oak on the palate. It has a sweet, fragrant, long and creamy finish at 40.2% ABV.
The collaboration is a first for the McCartney sisters and combines their creative strengths to bring their memories of Scotland to life. The packaging of both expressions feature the photography of Mary McCartney, alongside a new logo which combines both sisters’ initials.
The logo will feature across the full range, including a luxury line of lifestyle products, alongside The Macallan logo. The collection – called TOGETHER: A Collection for The Macallan by Stella and Mary McCartney – is a limited-edition range of 11 lifestyle pieces designed by the sisters and made by artisans.
It offers a curated selection of bespoke homeware including handmade glassware, a ceramic flask encased in an apple leather sleeve, ice stamps with hand-painted ceramic handles and a brass napkin in the shape of an acorn. It is now exclusively available as a complete set in selected domestic retailers. ✈
