The Estée Lauder Companies (ELC) has appointed Bart Dubbeld as Vice President/General Manager, Travel Retail South-East Asia, effective 1 October.
Dubbeld reports directly to ELC Senior Vice President/General Manager Travel Asia Pacific Karen Housman. He joins the Travel Retail Asia Pacific Leadership Team.
Dubbeld is responsible for driving growth and profitability for ELC’s South-East Asian travel retail division. Prior to his appointment, he was most recently Vice President/General Manager, Travel Retail Asia Pacific for Clinique and Dr.Jart+. In this role, he led successful retail initiatives, trade marketing activations and drove the digital transformation for both brands.
Since 2020, Dubbeld has been responsible for Korean skincare brand Dr.Jart+ in worldwide travel retail. These past two years, Dubbeld has also been responsible for leading ELC’s travel retail business in Thailand.
Dubbeld joined ELC in 2013 as National Sales Manager for MAC Cosmetics within the company’s Benelux affiliate. As National Sales Manager, he built a strong business in retail, freestanding stores and department stores for MAC Cosmetics.
Two years later, Dubbeld and his family moved to Miami to join the Travel Retail Division as MAC Cosmetics Regional Director Travel Retail Americas.
