Tastes on the Fly brings local favourite Starbird to SFO’s new Harvey Milk Terminal

US. Tastes on the Fly has introduced a Starbird quick-service chicken restaurant at San Francisco International Airport’s (SFO) new Harvey Milk Terminal 1, which opened earlier this month.

The terminal, which is being developed in phases, is named after California’s first openly gay elected public official, who was assassinated in 1978.

The restaurant features chicken in sandwiches, salads and tacos. Its menu also includes breakfast sandwiches and grab-and-go items.

Tastes on the Fly CEO Michael Levine said: “We are delighted to bring Starbird, the premium quick-service chicken restaurant, and a local Bay Area favourite, to the Harvey A Milk Terminal. Their core values align with our values and those of the San Francisco Airport.”

According to Tastes on the Fly, the airport location will follow the same operational standards as other Starbird restaurants. Starbird has a ‘positively delicious chicken’ tagline. Its chickens are raised locally and sustainably farmed; bread is fresh baked and vegetables are cut and pickled in-house.
