UK. Storck Travel Retail has partnered with WHSmith to launch Werther’s Original Caramel Popcorn in UK travel retail.
The new line is rolling out to selected WHSmith stores at London Stansted, Gatwick (North and South), Heathrow (T4) and Manchester airports. Its debut is supported by digital and full fascia advertising until 22 February.
Original Caramel Popcorn is available in two flavours, Classic and Pretzel, both presented in resealable 140g bags. Classic offers light and crunchy popcorn while the Pretzel flavour combines sea salt and pretzels.
Storck Travel Retail Managing Director Andy Mutton said: “The new popcorn range is a great addition to the Werther’s Original portfolio. The crunchy and crispy popcorn combined with the familiar Werther’s creamy caramel brings people ‘a little piece of warmth’ whilst on their travels.
“The new range not only drives innovation in the category but taps into different consumer need states within travel retail. It is ideal for sharing, gifting or enjoying alone and offers something a bit different to traditional sugar or chocolate.”
