BELGIUM. Starbucks and partner Autogrill Belux will open the first Starbucks outlet at Brussels Airport later this year in landside Departures. Other Brussels Airport locations that may follow this opening.
“Reaching new customers in busy Brussels Airport is one more step in Starbucks effort to increase its presence in important international markets and transportation hubs,” said Jim Alling, President of Starbucks Coffee International. “We are thrilled to open our first store in this dynamic location that hosts thousands of travellers from around the world each day.”
Autogrill Belux CEO Jean-Paul Van Avermaet said: “We are delighted to be able to work with Starbucks as a licensor and we are keen to open a Starbucks store in the cosmopolitan Brussels Airport. Building on the success of our cooperation in other countries, we are convinced that this new location will add value, not only for Brussels Airport, but more importantly, for our customers.”
Starbucks and HMSHost already work together in North America where HMSHost operates 344 Starbucks locations in airports and travel plazas. Additionally, Starbucks and Autogrill’s European affiliates have opened six Starbucks locations in Amsterdam, Copenhagen and Cork airports over the past 18 months.

Starbucks will mark the arrival of an internationally esteemed, first class brand that our customers have been demanding.
