SSP opens new concept Soul + Grain at London Victoria Station

UK. Travel dining group SSP has unveiled Soul + Grain, a ‘fresh-to-go’ food & beverage concept at London Victoria Station. It is the first in a series of openings for the new brand across UK airports and rail locations.

Soul + Grain offers a selection of ‘indulgent classics’, alongside a variety of vegan, vegetarian and nutritionally-balanced options. The range of healthy-option products are displayed with detailed nutritional information so that customers can make more informed choices, SSP noted.

Items on the menu include Hummus and Grilled Aubergine Beetroot Roll garnished with sun-blushed tomatoes and wild rocket; Double Bacon Brioche Roll containing both smoked streaky and back bacon, served with a signature house breakfast sauce on a Flour Station brioche bun.

Other options include a Katsu Chicken and Brown Rice Hot Box; Raw Green Crunchy Salad with smashed avocado, tender-stem broccoli, edamame and cucumber; and John Ross Scottish Smoked Salmon Wholegrain Bagel dressed with low fat cream cheese and wild rocket.

SSP has partnered with UK-based Extract Coffee Roasters, bringing ethically-sourced artisan coffee to the drinks menu. The coffee company was recently named Best All-Round Speciality Coffee Roaster at the UK Coffee Awards 2022.

SSP UK & Ireland CEO Richard Lewis said: “We are incredibly proud to be launching Soul + Grain to the UK travel market. In response to the demand for balanced menu choices, the brand is focused on giving our customers a premium, nutritionally-balanced menu alongside fantastic artisan coffee.
