Sisley Paris renews its body of work with two new launches

Soothing and comforting, Restorative Body Cream is ideal for use as an after-sun

14 years after its Restorative Body Cream was first launched, Sisley Paris has created a richer and more refined version which will be available in travel retail this month alongside the brand’s first-ever body oil, White Ginger Contouring Oil for legs.

Restorative Body Cream (200ml), made richer and more refined thanks to a potent cocktail of moisturising active ingredients, is said to offer skin intense repair and long-lasting hydration. According to the brand, skin is both protected from and restored following damage by external aggressions such as sun exposure, stress and pollution. The product also works to strengthen the ability of the skin to retain moisture by holding water in the epidermis and limiting its loss for long-lasting hydration.

The active ingredients include: Biosaccharide solution derived from corn and soy, which is formulated to increase hydration to the skin; wheat sugar derivative, which works on hydration; and chestnut extract to help limit water loss and maintains skin’s natural moisture balance.

Shea butter, andiroba oil, allantoin and phytosqualane combine to create a “body balm” effect, which is said to soothe and comfort the skin.

As well as providing instant relief for tired legs, White Ginger Contouring Oil for legs also enhances their appearance

The first body oil from Sisley Paris, White Ginger Contouring Oil for legs (150ml) targets the discomfort of heavy legs and swollen ankles. Macro-compression, caused by sitting or standing for too long, and micro-compression, caused by excess weight, can both lead to slowed blood circulation and poor drainage of toxins which in turn lead to an uncomfortable feeling of heaviness.

The silky, easily-absorbed oil has been created to provide ‘instant’ relief for tired legs, toning the skin and helping legs to feel lighter.

Featuring a fresh, invigorating fragrance, the oil works through four actions:

Draining action – white ginger extract and ginkgo biloba target swollen tissue

Sculpting action – gelidium cartilagineum and cedrol promote fat burning and limit fat storage

Toning action – essential oils of rosemary and litsea cubeba tone and stimulate the skin while white ginger tones and firms

Beautifying action – skin is nourished and softened by shea, macadamia and aniroba oils.
