THAILAND/CHINA. King Power International and Chinese digital services provider Jessica’s Secret have revealed the 20 most-searched words on the Thai travel retailer’s Chinese language website via The Moodie Davitt Report as an insight into consumer demand.

As reported, Jessica’s Secret (creator of the popular duty free price comparison app of the same name) launched King Power International’s dedicated Chinese language website in October 2018, driving a big boost in online views and sales.

Jessica’s Secret also works closely with The Moodie Davitt Report, jointly producing The Jessica’s Secret Index – a highly popular monthly indicator of what’s hot with the app’s predominantly younger Chinese traveller user base.

Commenting on his company’s partnership with King Power International, Jessica’s Secret Founder & CEO Mirko Wang said, “Through close cooperation between King Power International Group and Jessica’s Secret, the online sales and orders continue to maintain rapid growth.

“The relaunch of King Power’s Chinese website has achieved great success, and its year-on-year growth in the first half of 2019 was +509% for orders and +319% for sales, respectively. Consumers are willing to spend more time and money shopping online due to the improvement in the browsing experience.”

The Jessica’s Secret team is now making a greater effort to drive even higher sales by introducing advanced data analysis, Wang said.

“During the past year, Chinese consumers have contributed a great body of valuable data each time they visited the website,” he told The Moodie Davitt Report. “Data analysis will help anticipate the behavior of Chinese consumers, provide more personalised services and lead to smarter business strategies.”
