Rituals opens store at Lisbon Airport as it steps up standalone expansion

Lifestyle brand Rituals this week opened a standalone store at Lisbon International Airport Terminal 1 Central Plaza.

The 33sq m airside store at Portugal’s leading gateway offers 29sq m of sales space. A ribbon-cutting ceremony was attended by Rituals executives, including Travel Retail Director Neil Ebbutt, and Lisbon Airport officials.

The new store highlights gifting options and Rituals’ best-selling collections which include: Ritual of Sakura; Ritual of Ayurveda; Ritual of Dao; Ritual of Namasté; Ritual of Samurai; Ritual of Happy Buddha and Ritual of Karma.

Rituals says its new store offers the “perfect environment” to showcase the brand’s ‘Slow Down’ philosophy.

Rituals’ Oriental Essences collection of Eau De Parfums is also offered along with travel-size products. A Home table presents the brand’s Private Collection candles and fragrance sticks as well as its regular candles and fragrance sticks.

The Lisbon Airport store joins Rituals’ two other directly-owned shops, at London Stansted Airport and London Luton Airport.

Opening promotions included a blossom tree filled with cards offering customers a free sample of Ritual of Sakura.
