GREATER CHINA. Rituals has named Chinese singer and actress Wang Feifei as its first ever Brand Ambassador in Greater China. Wang will be the face of Rituals’ classic body care, home fragrance and Ritual of Jing sleep collection. She is best known as a member of South Korean K-Pop band ‘Miss A.’
Rituals only entered the Chinese market last year. It opened a warehouse facility and office in Hong Kong in June 2019 to support its Asia Pacific operations across travel retail, domestic and ecommerce channels. It currently has three domestic boutiques and two downtown duty free counters in Hong Kong and another three duty free shop-in-shops in Macau.
The company is also planning to extend its travel retail presence in South Korea, where it is currently available with Lotte Duty Free and The Shilla Duty Free.
In China, Rituals is available on TMall, WeChat and Little Red Book. Wang’s appointment reflects the holistic wellness company’s commitment to deepening engagement with the Chinese consumer and increasing visibility in the region.
According to brand, Wang Feifei embodies its ‘Art of Soulful Living’ mantra both on and off camera. Wang is a self-care advocate who has a passion for wellness and often shares her Rituals experiences on social media.
