UAE. Inflight specialist Retail inMotion has partnered with Bateel International for the development of an exclusive range of speciality gourmet products.
The range was developed by Bateel’s artisan chefs, who took inspiration from local UAE flavours and favourites. It has been featured as part of Etihad Airways’ inflight retail offering since 15 April.
The selection (pictured) includes items such as half-moon biscuits, plain and filled dates, pies and tartlets, and a local twist on the muffin.

Retail inMotion was awarded the retail contract for Etihad in April 2018 and the airline’s new Boutique programme was launched in November 2018. It will be followed by the introduction of pre-order and home delivery services in 2019/20.
