Rémy Cointreau Global Travel Retail launched its latest Louis XIII Cognac coffret this month, the culmination of two years’ development.
Described as an “harmonious blend of sleek modernity and environmental consciousness… a true symbol of timeless luxury”, the coffret is crafted from 100% cellulosic materials. This represents a key step forward in the ‘Sustainable Exception’ goals set by the House of Rémy Martin.
The coffret balances “function, emotion and sustainability” through reducing packaging CO2 emissions by -57%. The coffret is –24% lighter and -14% smaller than before, facilitating environmentally conscious shipping and transport practices.
The coffret is presented at 40% ABV in 70cl and 75cl formats.
Rémy Cointreau Chief Executive Officer – EMEA, APAC and Global Travel Retail Ian McLernon said, “The unveiling of this exquisite new coffret is a testament to Louis XIII and the House of Rémy Martin’s unyielding pursuit for sustainability. Today, travelling clients are seeking out sustainable products, services and experiences that will make their journeys truly exceptional.

“By seamlessly blending design, an innovative Cognac experience and ecological responsibility, the coffret beautifully demonstrates the value of preserving our natural environment for generations to follow. We look forward to collaborating with our travel retail partners around the world to present this new chapter in Louis XIII’s sustainability journey to clients.” ✈
