RegStaer celebrates 20th anniversary in spectacular style in Moscow

RUSSIA. RegStaer celebrated its 20th anniversary at a memorable gala dinner in Moscow on Friday.

The travel retailer, majority-owned by Dufry since 2012, treated guests to a sumptuous 16-course dinner and an evening of memorable entertainment. The company also unveiled new environmentally friendly paper bags for RegStaer’s Duty Free Moscow operation and presented awards to key management and staff.

The evening was hosted by RegStaer Founder & Chairman Alexander Baev with guests of honour Dufry CEO Julián Díaz and Stefano Ricci, owner of the Italian luxury lifestyle brand of the same name (RegStaer opened the first Stefano Ricci boutique in Moscow, which it still operates).

Baev welcomed guests to the evening and spoke proudly about RegStaer’s 20-year journey, which began with a single shop and now includes extensive operations at several Russian airports, including Moscow Sheremetyevo and Moscow Vnukovo  and burgeoning regional operations.

Star turn of the night was legendary Russian singer Valeriy Meladze, who delivered a dazzling set comprising many of his greatest hits.
