The Moodie Davitt Report Founder & Chairman Martin Moodie said: “Launching registration for our new Virtual Travel Retail Expo platform is a key milestone in the build-up to what promises to be an even bigger and better event this year. We have demonstrated our ability to create high-class virtual events but by developing our own platform this year we have built on the strengths of the 2021 Virtual Travel Retail Expo and enhanced the platform in several key areas.”

Dubai Duty Free is repeating its successful prize draw promotion from the 2020 Virtual Travel Retail Expo (pictured). The acclaimed Middle East travel retailer is also exhibiting in the new Retailer Emporium.

Moodie continued: “Alongside our partners FILTR.QINGWA, we are committed to working closely with industry stakeholders to create an innovative, cost-effective and user-friendly virtual experience. As travel retail adapts to conducting business in new ways, we want the Virtual Travel Retail Expo to be the leading expression of the channel’s digital credentials, incredibly rich in content and bringing together the travel retail community from all regions in a hive of virtual business activity.”

This year’s Knowledge Hub conference programme is themed ‘Lead. Inspire. Transform’ and will feature a range of sessions dedicated to the three subjects

Alex Cook, Managing Partner at FILTR.QINGWA, the event’s Virtual Stand & Experience Partner, added, “The Virtual Travel Retail Expo 2021 aspires to synchronize thousands of industry executives in a virtual community during the live week.

“We want to go further than the 4,500 unique visitors we attracted in 2020, as a pioneering enabler of knowledge sharing, networking and engagement. We’re pleased to have the registration portal up and running, and, with generous incentives from Dubai Duty Free there’s never been a better time to commit and start planning for a productive Virtual Expo.”
