Ras Al Khaimah International Airport strikes partnership with Duty Free Americas

UAE. Ras Al Khaimah International Airport has appointed Duty Free Americas (DFA) as its travel retail partner, following a competitive Requests for Proposals process.

DFA will assume responsibility for delivering “a refreshed, innovative and customer-centric retail environment across the airport’s duty-free and retail portfolio,” said a statement.

“This strategic partnership marks a significant milestone in the airport’s ongoing commitment to elevating the passenger experience and enhancing its commercial offering,” it added.

The partnership was formally marked on 2 June with an inauguration ceremony at the airport, bringing together senior representatives including His Excellency Engr. Salem Bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Chairman of Department of Civil Aviation RAK & Ras Al Khaimah International Airport, Falic Group President Leon Falic, Advisor to Falic Group President & Global Business Development Head Laurent Boidevezi and Falic Group Head of Beauty in the Middle East Judith Dupain.

“The appointment of Duty-Free Americas marks a significant step forward in our vision to further develop Ras Al Khaimah International Airport as a leading regional gateway.
