Qatar Duty Free, DFS, Dubai Duty Free and LS sweep 2015 DFNI Awards

INTERNATIONAL. Qatar Duty Free, Inflight Sales Group and Starboard Cruise Services were among the big winners at Duty Free News International’s (DFNI) recent Global and Asia/Pacific Awards for Travel Retail Excellence.

The 2015 Global Awards, held on 17 April during the DFNI Charity Ball at the Lancaster London Hotel, saw Qatar Duty Free winning three awards: Global Travel Retailer of the Year, Airport Travel Retailer of the Year and Best New Shop Opening (since January 2014) for its impressive Marmalade Market concept at Hamad International Airport.

Inflight Sales Group and Starboard Cruise Services were named Inflight Travel Retailer of the Year and Cruise/Ferry Travel Retailer of the Year respectively for both the Global and Asia Pacific awards.

The 18th DFNI Asia/Pacific Awards for Travel-Retail Excellence winners take to the stage

The DFNI Asia/Pacific Awards for Travel Retail Excellence took place on 12 May during the TFWA Asia Pacific Conference and Exhibition in Singapore this month.

DFS Group – a triple winner last year – was once again awarded Asia/Pacific Travel Retailer of the Year.

LS travel retail ASPAC was named Airport Travel Retailer of the Year for the first time.
