Priority Pass strikes lounges partnership with China Southern Airlines

CHINA. Collinson-owned traveller experiences programme Priority Pass has announced a strategic partnership with China Southern Airlines Co. It will give members access to the network of over 40 lounges managed and operated by China Southern across China.

This includes the First Class and Business Class Lounges that were previously only accessible by the airline’s premium passengers, along with China Southern Platinum Card members. Priority Pass is the first global lounge service provider that China Southern has partnered with.

This latest agreement builds on a +20% global inventory expansion for Priority Pass in 2021

Priority Pass has added 59 new airport lounges and 17 premium dining and spa experiences this year to date – contributing to the +20% global inventory expansion in 2021.

Collinson President, Asia Pacific Todd Handcock said: “Priority Pass is committed to delivering the best traveller experiences possible to our members globally, with us continuously striving to simultaneously improve both our lounge network reach and the quality of the lounges in our programme. This is, and will always be, the differentiating factor of Priority Pass. To further achieve this, we’re delighted to announce our new partnership with China Southern Airlines, which results in Priority Pass members gaining access to some of the best quality airline lounges in China, located in cities such as Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen and Chongqing.”

A China Southern spokesperson said, “We’re delighted to partner with Collinson’s Priority Pass, a leading global company that also places customer service at the heart of everything they do. Working together, we look forward to elevating members’ travel experience by welcoming them to our premium lounges – in which they can relax away from the crowds in an environment tailored to modern travellers’ needs and high expectations.”
