ASIA PACIFIC. Leading travel retailers from Asia Pacific and other regions have signed up to take part in the TFWA Asia Pacific Exhibition & Conference, which runs from 7 to 11 May at Marina Bay Sands Expo & Convention Centre in Singapore.

Among some of the confirmed attendees are China Duty Free Group, Lotte Duty Free, Dufry, Shinsegae Duty Free, DFS Group, NAA Retailing Corporation, Lagardère Travel Retail, Qatar Duty Free, Starboard Cruise Services, Delhi Duty Free, King Power, Gebr. Heinemann and 3Sixty Duty Free & More.

The TFWA Asia Pacific Conference, scheduled for Monday 8 May, will feature speakers from both within and beyond the industry, including former Singaporean Foreign Minister George Yeo. A new concept for this event, TFWA i.lab Asia will highlight innovative ways to engage the travelling consumer. Supported by the Singapore Tourism Board, it will have a dedicated zone on Level 1. This will be enhanced by the TFWA ONE2ONE meeting service, which will provide on-site business meeting facilities from 9 to 11 May.

TFWA pledges a strong series of conferences and seminars for its 2023 Asia Pacific event

TFWA President Erik Juul-Mortensen said: “As the largest duty free and travel retail market, the importance of Asia Pacific to our industry cannot be understated. Delegates from around the world come to TFWA Asia Pacific Exhibition & Conference to do business, and it is extremely satisfying to see the range of major brands that have already registered and committed to joining us in Singapore. I am certain the new connections made, as well as the strengthening of ongoing relationships, will help to ensure further business success in Asia in 2023. If you are undecided on whether to register, now is definitely the time to lock in your plans to go.”
