CHINA (HONG KONG). Plus Max Duty free has been awarded the duty free retail concession for the Hong Kong-Macau Ferry Terminal at Sheung Wan, Hong Kong.
The company plans to open three stores (one in departures and two in arrivals) on the Hong Kong side of the terminal by early November. The offer will complement Plus Max Duty Free’s duty free operations in Malaysia and India.
Plus Max Managing Director Dato Prakadeesh Kumar pledged to offer Macau-bound passengers a wide range of liquor, confectionery, beauty items and cigarettes, promising a “world-class duty free experience”.
The Hong Kong-Macau Ferry Terminal handled almost 17 million passengers last year.
