IRELAND. Fine smoking product supplier Peterson of Dublin will be presenting a new range of fine cigars, Peterson Gran Reserva, alongside existing pipe, cigar and tobacco lines at the TFWA Asia Pacific in Singapore this May.
The company is exhibiting for the first time there following a successful first venture into widening its travel retail distribution at Middle East Exclusive in Dubai last year.
The gift range includes eight products targeted at the pipe or cigar smoker or someone buying a gift for a smoker. It includes:
– Five tins of Irish Oak tobacco
– Five tins of Peterson tobacco including Irish Oak, Sherlock Holmes, Sweet Killarney, Sunset Breeze and Old Dublin
– A Peterson pipe and leather pouch set
– A Peterson pipe and Zippo lighter
– A Peterson pipe and tin of Irish Oak Tobacco
– Cigar scissors and three Peterson Hallmark Cigars
– A cigar case and three Peterson Hallmark Cigars
– A selection of five Peterson Hallmark Cigars
All are presented in a stylish box which depicts the contents inside. The packaging is coordinated, enabling the range to be displayed on the shelf as a complete collection.
The Peterson Gran Reserva come in five sizes, namely Churchill, Toro, Robusto, Belicoso and Corona. The cigars are made in Honduras using a blend of Nicaraguan and Honduran tobaccos. They are said to be “full of taste and flavour”. The Cameroon wrapper is described as “slightly sweet, yet sufficiently spicy to give the cigar a balanced character from start to finish”.
