Perricone MD has launched a new line of skincare products, H2 Elemental Energy, which is designed to activate and energise surface skin cells. The Moodie Davitt Report attended the launch event last week at London’s National Theatre.
H2 Elemental Energy, already available in the USA, will launch in London department store Harrods and on Perricone MD’s e-commerce website in the first week of April. Wider roll-out will be at the end of April.
The collection is based on Dr Perricone’s discovery of hydrogen’s ability to transform the body from both the inside out and the outside in. H2 Energy Complex, powered by hydrogen, is said to penetrate the surface layers of the skin with a boost of hydrating vitality.
Perricone MD Executive Vice President International Business Development Virginie Descamps said that the brand will focus on securing inflight listings for the range’s Hydrating Cloud Cream because of its universal formula which addresses dehydration when flying. She added that the full line is available to launch with all airport and downtown duty free partners.
Products in the H2 Elemental Energy range are designed for normal to dry skin and feature a lightweight, fast-absorbing texture which has hydrating results, according to the brand.
The collection comprises the following items:
Hydrating Cloud Cream 50ml – an airy, “cloud-like” cream which is claimed to deliver a fresh, hydrating sensation while providing the comfort of a rich moisturiser
Hydrating Booster Serum 30ml – a hydrating treatment which plumps and smooths dry skin
De-Puffing Eye Gel 15ml – a cooling eye gel that de-puffs and hydrates the eye area
Firming Foam Mask 100ml – a lightweight mask that foams on contact to energise and firm skin with a cooling sensation
Advanced Renewal Infusion Serum (four x Infusion Concentrate Powder and four x Serum Base Liquid) – an anti-ageing booster treatment to be used in addition to regular skincare for one month, three to four times per year.
