Perfumer’s Workshop introduces new White Woods fragrance range

Perfumer’s Workshop International (PWI) will present a new fragrance concept at next month’s TFWA Asia Pacific Exhibition & Conference in Singapore (Level 1, T8).

White Woods has been introduced to broaden the appeal of PWI’s Amouroud range. PWI said the new line brings a whole new olfactive concept to the Amouroud selection and has the right characteristics to attract new users while appealing to existing customers.

The White Woods perfumes are described as fresh, bright, airy and long-lasting. They are designed for men and women who prefer a lighter scent for year-round or summer use, said PWI.

White Hinoki, created by Perfumer Angelique Nadau, takes inspiration from Japan’s Hinoki Wood. The perfume blends ginger, blood orange and white pepper to balance White Hinoki, with a core mix of labdanum, heliotrope and cinnamon and a base of bourbon and tobacco.

Lunar Vetivar was created by Perfumer Jerome Di Marino and inspired by nightfall. Its foundation is patchouli from Java, with notes of bergamot, pimento and pink peppercorn and a fusion of sage, night blooming cactus and black vanilla. Tobacco flower and tonka bean also feature.

Oud Tabac is another addition to PWI’s Amouroud range. Oud Tabac mixes oud, olibanum and amberwood with toasted-caramel notes of vanilla bourbon, balsamic and ambery cistus.

PWI Founder Donald Bauchner said: “The growth of niche fragrance continues to be remarkable; its annual rate of growth continues to outpace prestige fragrances globally.

“Since this time last year, we have achieved listings in Indonesia, Singapore, India, China, Bangladesh and Vietnam. We are definitely seeing a mimic of the global growth rate in our company.

“We think it is very important to keep our ranges exciting and new. Therefore, introducing new collections is a key element for our ongoing relevance and brand animation.”
