Paradies Lagardère reveals new Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta Airport F&B and retail programme

USA. Leading airport restaurateur and retailer Paradies Lagardère has been awarded a new concessions contract to deliver new restaurants and retail brands to Concourse T-North at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport.

The new programme was approved by the Atlanta City Council last week. It will include a Starbucks, a Tropical Smoothie Café and a new version of the Vino Volo restaurant.

In addition, a partnership with well-known chef Duane Nutter and restaurateur Reggie Washington will see the opening of a new concept, the Southern National Market. The duo has over 50 years of combined culinary expertise and multiple James Beard Award nominations to their credit.

A hybrid concept, Southern National Market features gourmet pizza by the Pizzaboxx, to-go selections crafted from fresh seasonal ingredients, and a curated selection of regional gourmet and gift items, as well as other retail essentials.

Nutter and Washington – who will be opening a street-side Southern National brand in the city of Atlanta this summer – are the culinary team behind the award-winning One Flew South restaurant at the airport.

Meanwhile, Atlanta will be the first airport to host the next generation of the Vino Volo concept with a new contemporary design. On offer is an expanded beverage programme including craft beer and cocktails with local influences. Its renowned wine selection will also be available.

Starbucks’ offer will feature a menu of signature hot and cold beverages, breakfast and lunch options, and its Order & Pay Ahead option through the Starbucks app.

Completing the new programme is colourful Atlanta F&B brand Tropical Smoothie Café, which has a menu including salads, wraps, sandwiches, flatbreads and smoothies. The brand was recognised earlier this year as one of the top 10 franchises in the Entrepreneur’s Franchise 500 list.

Paradies Lagardère President and CEO Gregg Paradies said: “We greatly appreciate this opportunity and are thrilled to bring this incredible collection of brands to the Concourse T-North project at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport.

“With a great history and partnership with ATL, we are very confident that these iconic brands and Chef Nutter’s creativity will thrill travellers and elevate the overall guest experience in this portion of the airport.”
