OTG introduces flexible restaurant concept at New York La Guardia Airport

USA. OTG Management has launched a flexible dining concept that extends the range of food & beverage options at New York La Guardia Airport Terminal C.

The concept flips from Poppy’s Bagels to The Line Sports Grill between breakfast and lunch service. It is operated out of one kitchen, is LEED certified and a Certified Green Restaurant.

Poppy’s Bagels offers New York-style bagels and homemade spreads with locally sourced ingredients until 11am when OTG brings flavours of the local New York sports scene to the airport with The Line Sports Grill.

Walking to The Line, travellers can see the Citi Field baseball and Arthur Ashe tennis stadiums in the distance. They can sample a local beer, wine or spirits from one of many New York breweries and wineries at the outlet.

An eclectic wine offer includes expressions from Channing Daughters, RGNY, Wölffer Estate Vineyard, Lieb Cellars, Bedell Winery and Influence Wines. The spirits line-up offers LIV (Long Island Vodka), Supergay vodka, Dorothy Parker gin and Widow Jane bourbon, among other brands.

The restaurant highlights pub menu favourites including The Line Sports Sidewinder Fries and Nachos, with food options such as the Szechuan Hot Chicken Sando.

Guests can follow sporting fixtures via larger-than-life screens featuring college, international, local and professional events.

The Line Sports Grill features flo Xgen Technology, designed exclusively by and for OTG, which allows customers to order directly from their phone by scanning a QR code at their table.

Language support programmes are included to simplify communication for global travellers. Intuitive visual menus, which are available online or as an Android/ iOS app, are designed to make finding and ordering food, drinks and other items easier than before.

Contactless payment such as tap credit and expanded coverage for Apple and Google Pay is available, with kiosks supporting transactions via the OTG app as well as PayPal and Venmo.
