Nemiroff vodka has appointed Grzegorz Kuwalek to the newly created role of Chief Sales Officer.
Kuwalek and his team will direct and lead sales, while developing the brand’s long-term strategy in global duty free and the Ukrainian and European markets.
Kuwalek joins Nemiroff from Coca-Cola Hellenic Bottling Company (HBC) where he was Business Development Manager and Head of Premium Spirits Poland.
“I’m really excited to take on the challenge with Nemiroff,” he said. “This is a brand with an impressive heritage, unique brand image and bold character that is perfectly positioned to capture the European and duty free market.”
Kuwalek underlined Nemiroff’s standing as the most popular vodka brand in Ukraine, its high rating in the duty free channel and its “confident strategy to win in trade”.
Nemiroff CEO Yuriy Sorochynskiy commented: “With impressive expertise in sales within beverages industry, bringing Grzegorz onboard reinforces our commitment to build global availability of Nemiroff premium spirits.
“While we are building an industry-changing brand, his leadership and industry acumen will be an immeasurable asset to us.”
Nemiroff noted increases in sales during 2020, despite the pandemic and overall industry decline. The brand said it has widened its availability and entered new markets, with further expansion in the pipeline.
